A licensed doctor of optometry, Dr. Khoa D. Nguyen is a comprehensive clinical optometrist with extensive training in ocular disease diagnosis and management. Dr. Nguyen’s professional interest is to strive and continue to provide the highest possible quality of care for patients. His long-term goals are to enhance and promote community awareness of visual health concerns, in hopes to increase regularity of eye examinations for patients, vision screening for preschool children, eye injury prevention, and vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Nguyen received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Portland State University and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University. Dr. Nguyen served as the class President and was the recipient of the Student of The Year Award during his time at Pacific University.
Dr. Nguyen is Trilingual and fluent in Vietnamese; English and intermediate Spanish. Dr. Nguyen has seen over 3,000 patients performing optometric humanitarian work in Belize, Honduras, Vietnam and England. He is proud to be a part of an exceptional care team at 'Io Eye Center to serve patients.
